The opportunity

Directs sales and account management efforts for multiple strategic programs and customers.

The role

  • ? Manages the sales of customer accounts for key retail customers
  • ? Manages and leads direction for product placement and sales of accounts
  • ? Collaborates with Director or Vice President on priorities and business strategies
  • ? Makes contacts with new and existing customers and generates new opportunities for our products to be placed
  • ? Collaborates with Replenishment and Sales Analyst functions in assigned categories
  • ? Leads efforts to align customer orders with monthly ship forecasts
  • ? Generates business analysis and strategy, coordinates customer meetings at multiple levels
  • ? Leads category team's efforts to deliver customer service metrics - order fill rates, store in-stock percentages, Distribution Center outs, forecast accuracies and purchase order on-time arrival compliance
  • ? Manages the customer relationship in pricing, product placement, analysis, orders, replenishment
  • ? Leads team to make sure required data and information is complete for buyer meetings
  • ? Ensures timeline executing internally and with the customer's teams including new item commitment, setup, ship dates, and modular execution
  • ? Trains and develops direct reports technical and soft skill sets
  • ? Coordinates with marketing and merchandising on needs for properly displaying product
  • ? Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

What you bring to the role

Knowledge & Expertise

  • University Degree and at least 10 years of relevant and managerial experience

Attributes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High degree of strategic thinking required
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Experience within a manufacturing company supplying product to Retail Customers preferred
  • Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data and formulate metrics
  • Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information, and understand safety warnings
